Our Story

It all began in California. It was 2008 and I, Lindsay Floom was looking for a part time job to help make my way through college. Little did I know a seed would be planted that would later grow into Floom’s Blooms. I learned the craft of design at 17 and was blessed to learn from a couple who had been in the industry for 40+ years. They taught me everything they knew and championed me as they sent me to the LA Flower Market to learn from world renown designers.

10 years flew by and my flower shop dream was put on hold to pursue another dream - travel the world. I spent the next 7 years traveling the world and calling three countries home: Haiti, Italy, and Spain. I always had such a passion for beauty - specifically garden inspired beauty. Whether it was wisteria draped homes in Tuscany or vine covered cafes in Guatemala, I always had my eye on flowers. When I came back from years abroad I found myself going back to flowers and jumped into the wedding industry full force.

I started coordinating weddings, freelancing florals, and ended up meeting my hubby along the way. He was on the other side of the US though and I was in California. After visiting Ohio I fell in love with everything about it. And Chris too, ha! I decided to make the move and we dated for a hot minute, got married the next hot minute and the rest is history! We have both always had entrepreneurial spirits and knew we wanted to start a business together. PLUS, my husband’s last name and now mine rhymes with bloom… how could we not?!

We are passionate about flowers yes, but more so… people. We provide beautiful, unique, seasonal arrangements and designs. Curate detailed and dreamy weddings. But we also thrive simply when meeting you, our customer and client. Thank you for choosing to shop small, support local, and hopefully bless another with Floom’s Blooms.

We are so thankful.

Picked with Care

We aren’t your average Floral Designers. We pick our stems with careful thought and goals in mind - to be different! We love to use unique stems that you can’t find at your local grocery store.

We are passionate about sustainable floral design mechanics (yay no toxic floral foam in your house!) and use seasonal, locally grown blooms as often as possible.

We design in a light, airy, garden inspired way that showcases the flowers as naturally as possible. Our goal is to make your event memorable for not only you but all who attend.

“Look no further if you want a hassle free wedding day!! Having Lindsay as our wedding planner was the best experience ever! Especially getting married during a pandemic she had everything completely under control and organized for us. She set everything up possible before the wedding and did an amazing job keeping our timeline for the wedding day on schedule. I can honestly say not a single thing went wrong that day.”

“I can honestly say getting married is stressful, but getting married during a pandemic is some next level stress! Lindsay went out of her way to help my husband and I decide the best choices for our special day. She provided us with excellent venders to work with, helped make our ideas come to life since we were planning the wedding from Texas, gave us her full attention when it came to the week of our wedding, was flexible when the Governor changed restrictions last minute, and genuinely cared about what we wanted our special day to look like.”

“Lindsay and Chris were an absolute joy to work with. Lindsay asked incredibly thoughtful questions so she could totally grasp the floral vision for my wedding and suggested flowers I had never heard of. Her vast knowledge and expert arrangements elevated my vision to create florals above and beyond my greatest wedding dreams. And more than that, she made the entire process fun! Our conversations were full of laughter as they were business. I felt so taken care of through the entire process, and truly enjoyed having her be apart of my wedding day. I will definitely be contacting Floom’s Blooms about all my floral needs for years to come!”
