Under the Sea Baby Shower

We love a good baby shower - especially when it’s family!

My sister in law and I are 7 weeks apart in our pregnancy and having all the baby showers. She and her husband are waiting to find out the gender so we threw this Under the Sea themed baby shower and it came out just perfectly. My sister in law also got married in Puerto Rico so she is all about the tropical flowers which is such a fun change of pace for me. Vivid colors and different stems, I had so much fun curating this tablescape.

We used some white ceramic beaded vessels, some rattan vessels, and of course, bud vases! The bud vases all had different textures and colors which made them go so perfectly with the theme of under the sea. My mother in law also found these amazingly on themed Beanie Babies that tied the whole look together.

My sister in law’s, mother in law also handmade the favors! They were so beautiful! Handmade soap and handsewn sachets with dried lavender in them. All of this was accompanied by linens and napkins rented by Sully’s in Akron (our fav!)

It was such a special time of celebrating my sister and her baby! I think she is going to have a boy, but who knows! We will see in a few short months.
